Anyone have suggestions for LED replacements for these "vintage edison" type bulbs? Have clear glass fixtures in my kitchen, and was using 65W incandescent bulbs, but these fixtures are on a lot of hours, so maybe some efficiency would make sense. One burnt out today, so I need to do something. Hopefully the light quality isn't horrific.
Current style:
In these fixtures:
I actually have a different set of fixtures for that location, more like these, but waaaay back when I tried to sell this place, my realtor said they looked bad, and he's a fashionable dude. I actually liked them:
I could use pretty much anything in those, hmmmmm.......
Life advice requested.

Phillips makes some vintage style LED’s. They look great on, but quite stupid when off.

I gradually replaced all the bulbs in my house with dimmable Edison LEDs. I just got them from Amazon, 6 pack for about 35bucks, 2700-3000K colours. The brands on Amazon are not very consistent so I tried to order enough for each area at least so I don't have mix and match. So far so good, haven't had to replace them yet. The oldest ones have been for a couple years at least.
Went to Lowes, got a bunch of small things, zero lines to get in or out.

Great Mother's day gift too.
Life advice: Throw those old fixtures in the garbage, that's where they would look the best. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also, just replace with normal incandescent trendy bulbs. An extra $5 per month in electricity for the aesthetically pleasing bulbs is worth it.
Disagree, the LED bulbs look great.

How often do you find yourself looking at light bulbs in your house?
The kinds of fixtures that take those fancy incandescent bulbs have a tendency to hang at face levelThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Lamp Bondage Porn... Go ahead and don't search that.
What is that person called when forced to hold the light while you sit and read a book? Light-cuck?
Only in these clear glass hanging fixtures that are a visual centerpiece of my kitchen. So that's 2 bulbs out of like 100 in the house. However, I think killer is wrong, these look "normal" when they are off, and anyway, they aren't ever off if we are using that room. Those lights run more hours than any in my house. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

What is the point of having light bulbs if you can't look at it?
Have a bunch of these, and I'm really happy with them. The four "leaves" fold upwards, so send the light outwards, and have a centre section that send light downwards. Have been installing at my moms, my brothers, and frankly everywhere.

I have a similar but tri led setup - it essentially saved me from spending 1000$ on a LED garage lighting system. The output is phenom. Great for workspace where you need proper lighting and working with your hands (too much blue light for reading though). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I agree. It will be saving me a ton of money as well not having to retrofit a garage.
