Painting mouldings

Is there anything you put on the plastic mouldings to make the paint stick to it, I heard something about an adhesion promoter or something like that?

sand them, with scotch brite to get the shine off, get an adhesion promoter and quality paint and primer, go talk to any body shop for supplies

USe bulldog adhesion promoter. SEM also makes a line of paint specifically for vinyl and plastics.

I painted mine. I used alot of adhesion promoter and did alot of coats of paint. Then alot of clear to keep it from chipping off. Haven't had any problems in a year
