It sucks for all of us on night shifts and having to sleep during the day when its even warmer. Although this is the last night shift I have to do out of a 3 week rotation, so it will be nice to actually sleep during the night pretty soon.
And I think it is raining outside a bit, at least downtown. So it should be cooling off slightly.

It's been raining on and off up here. It's pretty cool outside, but having a shower is better (^-^) Also apparently my shift is consider afternoon O.o night shift is when you get off at 6am >.> Oh well. No rush hour traffic

It was very hot, but at around midnight the wind started to howl and cooled down the house pretty quick. I was tempted to sleep in the w/o basement with no blinds installed yet, but there was some drunk weirdo running around asking for gas money the other day at like 3am and he left his jerry can in my backyard

If it's really that hot then just get a big towel and soak it in really cold water. Wring it dry then lay it on top of yourself. Guaranteed to cool you down quickly.
