Cheap furniture

So finally moving into my own place, I've began to look at furniture, specifically couches. Not looking for anything pimp/baller/etc, just comfortable, durable, decent looking, most importantly afforadable for a student.

I hit up the regular cheap places like Ikea, the Brick, Leons and even United furniture warehouse. United seemed to be the most expensive of the 3 which was kind of surprising to me. Ikea couches really suck IMO. The Brick and Leons, both didnt really have what I was looking for (well they did, but priced surprisingly higher than what I thought.

I know of going directly through Dynasty, but from what I heard you have to know someone who works there.

I found this place called Real Time Furniture, based out of Toronto, but they ship for cheap, seems to be pretty good, especially for this set:

I was curious if anyone has ever used them.

So if you have any ideas or suggestions of other places to try it would be greatly appriciated.

You could try hitting up some auctions, if they have something you like you might get a good deal. A friend of mine bought a nice leather coach and loveseat for $800 for the pair.

I've also seen some showhomes selling off furniture they don't need anymore. I've specifically seen this in Mackenzie Town but don't know if its still going on.

other than that, i don't know too much, but i've seen this company around before.

I can understand your situation but I would never buy a cheap couch. At the very least you can get an average quality couch at Penthouse express.

Yep that's it, we always buy couches for our house there @ discounted prices
