I'm looking at getting the base model of the Jepp Patriot. They have 0% financing right now and it's $275 per month with zero down. It seems to be good on gas and it's got the space to throw all my stuff in when i'm on the move.

Pics, info?
For the price, I think its good.
Only import you'll get for that price is a bare bones Yaris.
its a great little unit, nice awd system.. same chassis as the caliber but better looking. The compass is also nice but more feminine looking. I have a pic of a lifted orange patriot with mudders and roof rack, see if I can find it.

Man that things looks rad. Hmm...

The body lines resemble the first generation Grand Cherokee. The Libertys are nice, my brother in law has one and has no complaintsOriginally posted by 01RedDX
It's the long overdue replacement for the Cherokee, even has the same boxy profile. I think it's a nice Jeep, I definitely like it better than the Compass.

It has been getting some pretty good reviews from all over. Cheapest 4x4 on the market right now, and gets some pretty decent gas mileage.
downfalls that I see with it is that it only comes with a 4cyl engine, can't upgrade to a 6cyl, and the CVT transmission. i really don't like Chryslers CVT.
Calgary dealerships have HUGE markups on these tho, so bargain like hell.

My neighbour's daughter just got one of these and she showed it to me the other day, and I have to say I was pretty impressed. If your going the brand new route I dont see you getting more for your money. The only question for me would be reliability, but if your the type to be buying brand new, it will probably be under warrentee for most the time you own it anyways.
Jesus, don't lead me into temptation lol.. However I might be selling the TA back to my brother so I might need a winter vehicle seeing the EG will be done very soonOriginally posted by turbo'dGSR

Just don't but the FWD model, I can't even believe Jeep is making FWD vehicles in the Compass and Patriot.
^^ why not? its pretty much a wagon thats been lifted. The majority of these are going to be driven by people who care more about fuel consumption and just want the image of a SUV, rather than actually wanting a fully capable offroad vehicle.
Needing AWD for winters is a big misconception.
heres my buddy's Patriot, on 22' DUB wheels

^ X2, why take the cheapest SUV on the market and put on rims like that, and horrible looking rims at that?
But I've been interested too, as I can really use a 4X4 winter SUV, however the interior has a fair bit of plastic, enough to make an avid barbie doll collector jealous, but asides from that, looks damn good

LOL that patriot with the 22s is disgusting
Hopefully they come out with an SRT6 or something.
