The plates are from the city of Fujairah in UAE. A little ways from Dubai. I cannot imagine the Royal family letting anyone else have it, but alot of online sources claim its a Ukaranian or a Russian guy who paid between 15-55mill for the plates. No credible sources yet.

A friend of mine who is part that super rich crowd said that single digit numbers go for over a mill US and the 2 digits go for just under that, and certain combinations of numbers go for crazy amounts too. BTW this isnt to get the plate from the registry, its between owners of the plates.

I was at that entrance to the Mall of the Emirates recently. Actually, I should be there again this Friday on my way to Africa. All I saw was this crappy Porsche and Lambo last time I was there haha. Dubai...the true city of excess!!!
