    Damn it, is Luis ever there during the day?

    It's my last day at work and as per company tradition I'm buying beers for all of my coworkers. I was going ot pick up a shitload of Vogglio's and help Luis get some office connections (I'm sure everyone here will love the pizza).

    So I've been repeated calling since noon and no one is picking up... I've built this pizza up so much that I'm going to look like an idiot not bring anything but cases and cases of beer. Ok, so maybe not like that much of an idiot... but still

    Yeah when I chatted with him last, I guess he closes up earlier (midnight-ish) because business is dead slow after midnight, so it might mean he opens up later too?

    the past 2 saturdays he has opened up at 5. yesterday he was pretty busy which is good. man im not sure what id do without a weekly mexicana

    yes it's by some russian place. i'm not 100% if its a dessert place tho, but im guessing so since you mentioned it? they have those wooden russian figures in the window. not sure what they are called, you take them apart and it's the same figure inside just smaller.

    I had that caramel pizza, I didn't like it. Had another meat vogglio, not as good as usual, but still really good.

    I went in on Friday night, only took 25 mins to get both pizza's and I ordered when I got there.

    i tried the mexicana on thick crust
    it was sooooo amazing i cant describe
    then i tried the fruit pizza on thin
    i was speechless

    Dropped by this plase last week. I didn't realize it was a take-out kind of joint, so I hadn't ordered ahead. Waited about a half hour and then drove the pizzas home.
    They were the best pizzas I've had in years. I will be going back.

    fixed, i like CPU when i dont have time to wait 30(approx) minutes for pizza, ill just stop by and pick up a Xl for 12.70$. it isnt as good as luis but it gets the job done.

    Hot Spot Pizza & Restaurant
    way down on woodbine blvd. on a lil strip mall attached to a gas station and such.

    I really like the food there... they also make tons of variations for toppings and what not...

    if you mean hot spot in woodbine...

    they open 4 everyday

    closing times...
    mon-thur 10pm
    fri-sat 11pm
    sun 9pm

    It's been almost a month and no new posts on here so I thought I would revive the thread once again. I have been on a diet for November and December. I just got back from a 4 week holiday in Mexico which included 1 week in Puerto Vallarta. We visited a notarious restaurant called La Dolca Vita I think it is, which movie star often visit. Their pizza is a thin crust and the most popular item on the menu. I still can honestly say that Luis and Vogglio's makes the best pizza still that I have ever ate.

    Note: My diet was off for 4 weeks while I was on vacation and back on now.

    I welcome any other comments on Vogglio's. I haven't been in there to see Luis in a couple of months, but I hope everything is going well still.
