i guess they forgot that people wear black to mourn the loss of the deceased
or is it gangsters that wear white?

I especially love the blinding aray of white that they're wearing. Isn't it customary to wear dark colors when you're mourning someone? And I get that the train station is the place he died, but why are they hanging around there a week later still crying over his memory? It's not like any piece of him remains there or that his spirit is still lurking somewhere in that general facinity. Go to a church or his grave site or his family's home or something.

Not that any of them probably are religous, but it depends on the faith. There are a few religions I can think of where it is customary to wear white while mourning/funerals/etc.

Why dont we get back on topic about hoping the killer gets caught.

Anyways on globals site, police say shes most likely in Regina right now and that the RCMP have been notified there. They have also released her name.

The ironic thing is that prison will keep her alive, were she left on the streets it would be more likely a death sentence.

^^ Considering she got caught because she was spraying graffiti, I'm sure that's true. She obviously has no idea what "lay low" means. I can see continuing to steal or deal drugs or whatever, but graffiti? Grade A moron

Then again, I'm sure the guy had lots of friends in the prison system, so we'll see.

12 years before any parole eligibility. I honestly didn't expect to see that much time. Good, but still not enough imo.

Yah go figure. She gets 12 years, but the couple that lured a guy into a back alley and beat him to death are out after 2 years, i think they were white though.

^That is fucked up. I went to school with the murderer that lured the guy in the alley, and honestly, I expected him to grow up and live the life he chose... They should have got way more time

12 years is pretty much all you can ask for out of our system... though if she was white it would be substantially lower.

Whatever though, the downtown core is a bit safer with 2 shitheads gone.

when I was at a record label in manhatten I was the only white guy in a boardroom of like 10-12 black guys.. half of which were probably 3,400 lbs.. then he asked me in a calm voice if "I was nervous"... uhh.. should I be? lol..

but yah, try going to the bronx at dusk when you're the only white guy within 1000 metres and try to blend in... talk about nervous... I had to meet a client on 1 side and we took the train at dusk.. the advice I got when I had to go across one of the bad parts was.. never run if something happens, just walk casually-otherwise they'll think you're a snitch and shoot you too... that was fun...

ps.. you want to see crazy, when I was there, their "A" train was down for a day (which is the busiest out of the 4 lines they have i think) fuck me.. you want to see abonormally pissed off new yorkers lol.

So I hear that her lawyers say she was treated unfairly during the trial because of her race.

Just how exactly should a murderer be treated? Should we be lenient because she's had a rough life due to her lifestyle?

Or should we throw the book - or maybe the pamphlet, considering how weak our justice system is - at her, and hope that it gets through the next person's skull so that they think about the consequences before they decapitate someone on a C-Train? (yeah, I know.. people thinking.. not a strong point)
