First Day Shooting At Track, As well As First Post!

Hey guys! I am kind of new to the photography end of Beyond!
But I thought I would post of a couple of shots from today out at Race City Speedway of the drifting and Auto-X.

- Please note this is my first time ever shooting anything automotive! Hopefully tomorrow will go better, I'll also have more than a Macro lens to be shooting with! =)

Also please excuse the grain, poor Raw to JPEG conversion.. I really need Capture One Pro!!

your shutter speed is too fast, slow it down and pan to show some more motion.

Ah, YOU'RE the guy with the D2X! Man, I commented to another photographer today that I keep seeing see you at car events, but I never seem to see any of your photos, haha!

I think you walked by me at SCC and mentioned to someone that I was using a Sigma on a Canon. (It was a Nikon, though.)

I was trying that but was failing... However I got a couple better ones trying that today..

I saw you too! lol I thought it was a siggy, weird! But yeah, that was my dad I was with haha.

Oh, it was a Sigma alright, but the body was Nikon!

I wouldn't worry about posting stuff, it's always great to see other people's shots! Heck, it was my first time shooting drifting as well.

Yep, got a couple good ones of you. I'll probably make a thread for the SCC pictures when I've done some editing.

there was quite a few people there with their cameras, I only took a few of the drags, non of drifting, i'll post some later.
