Default Advice on selling a used BMW

I'm looking for some advice on selling my '97 328i convertible black on black 145,000 km's.

I'm about half way through installing some mods and question is should I finish the mods then sell or back out of the mods, return to stock and then sell...what would you guys do.

    Here are the mods:

    1. Suspension: TMS sways, lowering springs, koni yellow, camber correction front / rear. (only the sways installed so far)

    2. aFE cold air (installed)

    3. Supersprint exhaust (installed)

    4. Engine: M3 cams, M50 intake not installed

    5. Body: clear corners, sidemarkers (installed)

    6. B&M short shifter (not installed)

    7. Kosei 17" rims with Pilot sport (new installed)

    8. Stereo: stock removed, new stereo installed in progress.

I've never tried selling a modded car so looking for some advice.

    Thanks,

Umm well I've never sold a used car but make it clean, like spending $250 on polish and detailing shouldn't be bad,

Sam's Auto Detailing on Habalta road he does great jobs! and $250 will probably get you everything to make it looking like new and clean!

Also assuming no accidents?? and that there aren't things wrong with it and regular synthetic oils change? etc... lil tid bits might help the buyer.

Umm as for advertising it... it'll be alil difficult cause again it costs money to put it in the bargain finder and etc..

    Steve

    Hope that helps.

But would you install all the mods then sell for higher price or
sell the car stock for cheaper and then sell the parts separately.
Thing is this is a much better car with mods installed.

Sell the mods and advertise the car as stock. 90%+ of the buying population does not want a car with mods.

IMO keep it stock if you are selling. Mods will not add value to the car when selling, and you will not get that money back. Plus you limit yourself for potential buyers that are looking for a 'modded' car. As stated, the majority of buyers will want a stock car.
