Default sick of the calgary CPS!

ok.... just at my buddy's house about 10 mins ago we had the CPS knock at his apt. door. As soon as he opened the door the first cop grabbed him by the neck and moved him out of the way and began to heckle us saying that we could have been throwing bottles a week ago when they were here, WTF! he began acccusing my friend of throwing bottles at a officer a week ago, as there were bottles in the apt.

I find it very disturbing, that assholes like this can make there way into our homes with no reason at all and treat us the way they did.

oh ya btw their was 6 of them all trying to be tough guys!, and I promise you it wasn't us that threw bottles at them, it could have been anyone of the other 100 people in the building

Umm yeh... some force their way in others ask... "may we come in?" and if you say "no" they'll still come in! So what's the point man Police have all the power... you can't do much.

they forcefully pushed my friend into his apartment. if they just said something along the lines of "we have complaints, we're coming in" that'd be ok, but the cop just pushed him in without saying a thing.

You can do ALOT, but only after the fact. There are many ombudsmans and the Alberta Law Enforcement Review Board, from what i've heard, is capable of getting your point accross.

Can't really comment without all the detail but you should file a complaint if you believe that they abused their power.

well one time i was walkin out of the ligure store with 2 buddies, A cop pulls up i put the booze in the trunk, and they come up to me and say. " what do know about the stabbing??" "ummm what stabbing??" " the one behind the hotel??" "what hotel" " the only one in okotoks!!" "umm thiers like 3 in okotoks" "DONT GET SMART WITH ME". haha so ne ways they start looking all in my car with through my windows, so then they find some cup my buddie took from bps, and they say thats stolen goods we have the right to search the car, so they take the cup, and get a call and say, we got to go and fuck off with their lights on.

I suggest your friend to go talk to an officer who handles complaints face to face at a station, make records of conversation and names. That way they can't shove him off.

well fuck start throwing bottles - they accuse you of it and give you a hard time to make themselves big - its the only rational response, fuck them just because they have guns around their waste and a badge doesn't give them the right to push you around - besides if you get caught with the courts here its not like shit will happen to you

record everything, on paper..Exactly how it happened, try not to sugar coat your side. if more incidents happen, then try recording with tape as a last ditch effort, i dont know how legal that is thats why i say last dtich effort, possibly to get media involved.

You didn't handle your shit.. I remember back in highschool they tried this shit with us, well not me so much as the house party I was at, and the cops ended up and the losing side of things, one lost his gun and they all had to retreat and wait for back up.. that was a crazy night..
