When is Soundsaround big 4 sale???

Is it going to be at the Big 4 this year? If I remember correctly, each store had a couple of things on sale but it wasn't as good as the big 4 one.

Last year they didnt even do it at the Big 4..they just did it at their own stores...cause there was a Computer Sale thingie at the Big 4 that year...

Hard to say...most of the stuff is last years models or demo's, I doubt they would sell the new stuff that day

I remember the last time I went there was one of their greaseball sales guys trying to tell me that the Epson brand projection LCD TVs were the BEST on the market.

Read the flyer when it's out and then do the homework.

Find the model you like and take the flyer to Vision/FS/BB for PM.

I hate dealing with SS or lining up @ Big 4.

I think plasma are having a huge drop this fall/Christmas. I won't be surprise if 42" panel drop under $1000 for crap brands and under $1500 for good brands.

No name 42's are already at $999. From what i've heard, this year the Soundsaround big four sale will be Sat. Sept 15th and will be in the stores, not downtown.

Agreed. The prices are no better than can be found online any day of the week. I find their staff knows almost nothing and they have no return policy except for store credit. If you go to their store, they have on the sticker "WAS $5000, NOW $1999" but it was never sold anywhere for $5000, but that was the MSRP 20 years ago or whatever. I just don't like the games they play to make you think you're getting a deal, when you can walk into any other store in calgary and pay the same price. Also other stores have return policies that involve you actually getting your money back.

Yes, it is this weekend. It is in store, not Bigfour building... It's just called the Bigfour sale now is all. It's also not just soundsaround that has the sale anymore, all major electronic stores in Calgary run one.

And just to restate the obvious... make sure if you're buying something there you know exactly what you need.

Don't expect any refunds, don't expect any after-sale support.

Make sure you know what that shit is worth, don't just go by their 'original' price and wow at the great markdown.
