Yeah, I work beside there, in Shell Center. It doesn't look that deep from the office tower, but when you walk along beside it...holy crap!Originally posted by Rav4Guy

looks pretty good!
i can't wait to see the traffic jams and $55/day parking when 30,000 more people start shuffling into downtown every morning. What are they doing to support these new buildings? Are they building new skyways into downtown? lots of new parking?. NM it's Calgary, they'll look into those details in another 60 years.
^ well, they did a survey a little while back and this city has seen a huge increase in alternative transportation into the downtown core from last year. I'm sure the buildings themselves will have parking spaces downstairs but definitely not enough. They even took out two parking lots for those new buildings.... yikes!

Pretty crazy, but looks cool!
and yet they'll still have places like CUPS and other random homeless facilities so the streets will still be plagued with wasteless pieces of crap.
Sorry, i'm not a fan of the homeless... well thats not entirely true. I truley feel sorry for the ones that do work and are trying to make a living but due to inflation they cant keep up and require these facilities... i dont even waste my time looking at the bums on the corner though that clearly have a drug/alchohal addiction problem.
edit: as to the buildings, looks great

CtrlAltDel from skyscraperforum.com creates those.
The old court house is turning in to a park. At least they plan on having some green space.
