Flight Time from Calgary to London?
I am flying to Amsterdam tomorrow. The first leg of the journey is Calgary to London (Heathrow). I have seen the flying time to London listed any where from 7-10 hours. The travel time on my Air Canada ticket says 13hrs which seems way too long. Can anyone who has done this flight shed some light on this?

If you have to land in Toronto then it's 13 hours, otherwise it should be around 8-9 max direct.

Mine was 12 hours but we stopped to refuel, and I think we had winds against us, PRAY you have winds on your back to speed you up, its a long boring flight thats for sure.

Pretty sure AC accounts for time changes as well.
Flight to Vegas is about 3 hours and on my itinerary it said 2 hrs when I flew to Vegas and it said 4 hrs when I flew back.

Its took me about 8.5 hours, have fun in Amsterdam.

I too am worried about AC kaput. Took me 6 hours to get to Calgary from Regina last time I flew with them. Work is paying for the flight so I don't have too much choice.
7 weeks (2 of work, 5 of holiday) of kickin' it in Europe, can't wait.

I went directly from Calgary to London in just under 9 Hours (AC).

True for most flights to/from UK/Europe, flight back takes about 30-60 min longer.Originally posted by ashee

It should be less than 9hours , I fly it every year to visit sisters and family... I have to do it again this dec.
