Maybe we can start our own as an extension of the Health and Fitness forum? There are quite a few people on beyond who workout regularly.
Leah has a forum, but havent checked it out recently
That's actually a good idea.Originally posted by Hakkola

I'm down for a local forum or extension!

Id be interested in this aswell!
I'd be interested in that as well, but it should be an auto-ban for threads "How to gain/lose weight" or "how should I work out"
Psalm 144(1): Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.
^^^ Great idea, but it'd be good to have a pinned wikki style threads on thsoe topics, let everyone spew their knowledge into those, edit out the crap, and then ban anyone who ignores those threads and starts a new one

Another recommendation for ironaddicts.com, I've trained with Iron Addict, too. He's the real deal . Great reality-based info.
That site is probably the best bet for almost everyone (ie beginners).
Oh, and I'd mostly steer clear of T-nation for now. A LOT of good stuff there, but also A LOT of questionable, and downright terrible info there too. Most will not be able to tell the difference without a lot of training experience and knowledge first. My money's on ironaddicts.com all the way.

Stay away from the misc threads at bb.com and your bound to find some good info. Before all the teens started coming in bb.com was a great site.Originally posted by Darkane

DougoeFre5h is my goto guy on that board (IA), and a few others, if you get stuck, good guy
I like the idea of an extension from Health & Fitness, as weight training can be rather complex. I find myself usually too lazy to go to other forums and sign up for something that could be provided here.
I made a forum at the start of the New Year but it died off rather quickly. I still check it almost every day, but no new posts And I don't have much to post unless you guys want to hear what I've been going through in my pregnancy and lack of exercise due to stretched tendons in my feet.
It's still there though, feel free to start posting again!
