I'm confused - were they caught or are they still searching for them? Internet implies the police are still looking, but the TV showed footage of them being pulled over?

Exactly! I highly doubt anything will happen to them. I bet they will just argue that their cars sound faster than they were going. :P In an Enzo 110km/h is like redline in 1st.Originally posted by avow
lol how well is this all going to hold up in court?
"i saw this guy drive very fast down the highway, he must have been going 200"

Well the cops have obviously seen their videos, and their "highway rentals" haha. How many yellow Enzos are there in Alberta anyways? lol
haha too bad they're not just speeding. If you've ever been out with them, or have been passed by them, they do some pretty ridiculous speeds on public roads.Originally posted by 95EagleAWD
Who honestly calls in Ferrari's and Lambos that are speeding?
It'd be like "Holy FAWK that's badass!"

Forbes was talking about it on CJ today. Told them to take it to Race City!

How do they know how fast they were going?
Black F430 coupe
Red 348 coupe w/ 360 modena wheels
Yellow Gallardo coupe w/ rims
Red 360 spider
The 348 driver is on a ferrari forum and posts occasionally in the Alberta section....
Exactly. I wasn't there, nor do I care. Here is my input.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

It's 7 am and a few farmers (small town folk) witnessed 5 exotics driving fast on a highway. They MUST have been doing 200 or so.
Even if they were driving in excess of those speeds it doesn't make it right. But man would I love to see that!
I feel only a little bad and hypocritical that if it were 5 wiggers in their cut coil civics, with fart can exhausts and krylon highlit interior chunks, that I wish the full extent of the law upon them.
Hahahaha, it's one thing to go for a rip in your exotic and maybe break a few traffic laws.
But it's something else to video it and post it up for the whole frickin world to see!!
Dumbasses! probably not much to say when the prosecutor plays a video with your smilin face in it waving to the camera...
Prosecutor: Is that you Mr. XXXXX in your yellow Ferrari Enzo with license number number XXXXXXX?
You: Aaaaaaaaah..........no, that's my evil twin??
Theres a reason the mafia never filmed any of their stuff, yo!
Fucking Idiots!
I think this is the video in question:

Pictures of them selves - check
Proof of their speed via speedo & GPS - check
Pictures of their license plates - check
Video of them driving, with speedo, in the car while duing 250 K/PH - check

I wonder if this means no more awesome ZR Videos. I for one really enjoyed the panoramic views of the rockies taken from a helicopter!!!
u know how much money these guys have ahha this wont be shit on the tip of their dick haha. They wont even get a tap on the wrist
^^
Nothing will come of it. Its their own fault for taking footage of themselves speeding and then posting it on youtuve, but money talks and they'll walk away with a slap on the wrists.
Seems like just a slow newsday for Calgary for a change.
If you get charged with dangerous driving, cant you lose your license?
Very difficult to drive a fast car slowly! haha

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
I'm no expert, but the police are basing their investigation on complaints from locals and youtube videos. I was pretty sure you had to be caught in the act by Police to have something as serious as losing your licence.
That said, if you can get a DUI and buy your way out of it (I went to Springbank Highschool so I know quite a few that have), I'm pretty sure you could buy your way out of a dangerous driving ticket.
If it was me and you doing it and posting videos, then yes, we'd prob lose our licenses. These guys can afford good lawyers, and it'll most likely just cost them some $ and hassles.

If I had an enzo I'd be doing it too, who wouldn't?
Can you imagine being at an Enzo meet and having a conversation with another owner.
1st guy - So, how did it feel hitting 330kph for the first time?
2nd guy - Uhhh....I dunno, never done it the speed limit is 110.
Everyone within earshot - " "
Owner of Ferrari - "Can I have your keys please, we'll send you a refund for your purchase price in the mail in six to eight weeks.
