Default anyone see the accident on 68th

Did anyone see the accident on 68th street? I was talking to a cop and he said " There were 2 BMW's racing, and one lost control and hit a Volvo" The innocent guy driving the Volvo is in critical condition. The guy driving the Volvo is a Paramedic and was going home after his shift.

was it 2 M3s? I see a pair of M3s always ripping it up and down the main boulevard where I live. 80kph+ in a residential zone! n:

Hopefully the driver of the volvo has a speedy recovery.

its always the innocent that die...why can't the BMW drivers die?!

sounds like the owner of the high end exotic car shop that got caught near High River trying to hit 300km/hr? why can't he jush crash and die?!

    Default 68th street

The guy in the volvo, works with me,

he hasa broken right knee. He also has a broken right eye orbit bone (eye is ok), several broken face bones, and there may be jaw/tooth damage.
His right knee is broken and the ligaments are all torn.
They have cleared him of internal injuries, he likely has a concussion, but they still have not cleared his spine although nothing obvious showed up in the CAT scan.

Those SOBS in the BMWs a do dumb...Dt know if the guy in the BMW is still alive, Probably not...

    Wow, that is terrible!

    To street racing!
Sorry to hear this, and best wishes towards your son in a fast recovery.

Good idea to post here on Beyond, hopefully the black bmw is also brought to justice.

A strong will and family support can work wonders, it will take time but I'm sure with you behind him your son will eventually make a full recovery.

Better a life slowed down than a life lost. I hope the other drivers are caught but unfortunately, our system will not mete out the justice they deserve. Best wishes to you and your son.

My thoughts and prayers go to your son and you as a family. Speedy recovery. The only thing worse than street racers are drunk drivers.

A big GFY salute to you assholes racing.

Holy! This is terrible to hear.

I hope more people (including myself) will wake up from this and realize how dangerous speeding really is.

Best wishes to your son, racing should be kept on the track, not on the streets.

Shit, that's a lot of damage to a volvo.

Did the bimmer guy show any remorse at all?

Not that any financial restitution will compensate for the pain that your family is going through both physically and emotionally, I hope you squeeze every penny that you deserve out of this asshole.
