speaking for expensive oil changes,
is this because its a M3 or any M produce line or all BMW including the 335i have such expensive maintainence?

^ They all do for the most part. I like to get my oil done there just because that drain plug is such a pain...it snaps so easily and if you don't replace the crush ring it leaks like a sieve. It was like $130 I think for mine.

Yeah, I think they quoted me $150 for an oil change on the 330. There is well over $80 worth of oil (7 litres!) when changing the oil on a inline 6 BMW.
The filter is $20 and then you have to add labour.
I do the intermittent oil changes myself (I am not going 25,000 km between oil changes).
