Anyone have it and have used Shaw Digital as well?
Wanting to compare the 2, the packages and prices are pretty good for Telus but wondering about the actual box and how everything is set up along with speed and such

I got to use it during the employee trial program. (brothers place).. Only reason i dont have it hear at my place... HD.. You cant get HD with telus (and my understanding is it will be some time... if it all before HD will roll out on telus)

My TV isn't HD anyways so I'm not too concerned, I don't watch a ton of TV but like having all the good channels for when I do sit down and watch it.
Yeh I don't watch HDTV infact I don't even notice the difference. All I care is the channels, and package price, and all that sort. As for quality meh... whatever works.
But for all you technical junkies and all into your high-end audio and video equipment then it may be worth wild to do so. Or look into both.
So how's the pricing on the channels and box and stufF?
Thanks,
Steve
Not 100% sure on this, but I've heard from someone who had telus tv, that even things such as the weather effect your cable feed.
I had Telus TV when I was an employee, for about 1.5 years. They were continuing to work out bugs during that time, so every couple of weeks you'd have a period of bad signal, mosquitoing, freezing, etc. When it was working, the quality was pretty good. The limitations are only 2 terminals per household, due to bandwidth. And when using 2 terminals to watch TV, you internet performance can go into the shitter. When I left Telus and didn't get the discount anymore, I switched over to Shaw. Shaw simply does TV better than Telus and the quality is much more consistent. More than half the employees who had Telus TV were canceling and going back to shaw. Shaw also has no contract hassles and much better bundles than Telus.
heloc that shit
