    Default calibration

just got a new computer and not sure if the settings are right, some pics are a bit differint from my last PC but how do i know which one is right!!! i am getting frustrated.

i seem to think my last PC is more correct becase when i take my pics in for printing at DONS they come out EXACTLY the way they looked on my old PC. and i know they do not correct anything unless you tell them. so, i have a dilema... help me out.

Look into getting a monitor calibration tool. The Spyder2 or Panatone Huey are good choices. Its likely neither screen is calibrated correctly and a tool like one of the ones that I suggested will help bring out the true colours in the pictures.
