Anyone recommend a good stone mason?

I'm looking to get the fireplace redone in the next little while and would like to get a quote on upgrading the fireplace in the condo from tile to one that is more like slate (see the link below).

Can anyone recommend a good stone mason / installer?

Try IXL, or Diamond Fireplace.
IXL is a supplier only, but they do have a list of installers that you would call to get prices from.
Diamond does supply/install.

Isn't that just a stick on stone? No need for a mason to do that.

My BF does excellent work, he did stonework for another beyond member (cant locate the thread) in his restaurant called Urban Rice. Also check out http://www.countrysidemasonry.com/. (Dad's Company) , they do natural stone only.
He does side jobs (veneer and natural) as well and may be able to do it for you in one weekend....
