Default for the shooters on beyond - my latest groups

Well, tonight I took my new gun out. My wife bought me a MK-IV Accutrigger with a heavy barrel for my birthday. Just stuck a IR target scope on it and had to give it a try.

    30 yards
    5 shots - 0.224" group
    10 shots - 0.327" group

    50 yards
    5 shots - 0.471" group
    5 shots - 0.503" group

and a pic of the inside of the scope. Lots of yardage and windage ticks to get those long shots.

my 22's are in the basement with my shotgun, but my 22-250 and 270 are under the back seat of my truck right now. My dad has my 300, and my SKS in my avatar, is at a friends house.

I went from an AR15 to a simple 22 because i got sick of 5 round mags and only being able to shoot shit inside the confines of a range. Plinking with a 22 and a 25-50 round mag is much more fun for me. Wish we could use AR15s in the bush with regular 30 round mags. Then i may get another.

    This was my AR15

now this is my 22 plinker that cost 1/4 of the price.

btw nice groups and nice to have a few gun peeps on the board.

It is, that is what the sniper unit used in my company. I wanted be a sniper but my knee didn't allow for the time I needed in the cooper test. I am a rifleman in urban combat unit and we used the aimpoint red dot sight. Only used the acog once, it is pretty sweet.

Not sure if you're joking or noy but 3.3ft/M and 3ft/Y. So approx. 0.9M in a yard

I wasn't, didn't think it was that close, I've never done any measurements using yards that I can remember.
