    Default review: Narah! hookah lounge

    - Restaurant name: Narah!
    - Location: Marda Loop
    - Food rating 4/5
    - Ambience 5/5
    - Service 5/5

A friend of mine and I went, had two hooka's ($12.95 each, Raspberry/Kiwi and 'sex on the beach' - two house blends), Calmari (~$10?) and Hummus (~>$10) and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks (drinks around $4). The hummus was the best I've ever had, and the Calamari I tried was really tasty and had a texture that wasn't slimy. The drinks I tried were a Narah Soda and lemon iced tea. They have many flavours of soda's and iced teas, but I wasn't feeling too adventurous. Reason for 4/5 with food was just because we didn't try any main dishes, and 2 apps isn't enough to really gauge the quality of a kitchen.

I've been there twice now, and the atmosphere, food, drinks and sheesh are all amazing. A great way to chill out on a Sunday night after a weekend of partying - our new tradition. VERY friendly, always willing to offer up suggesions of "what's good." A pet peeve of mine are servers who just say "everything." The slightly raised patio is where we sat both times, heat lamps keep it toasty. Music was very fitting for the atmosphere.

Also, I felt pretty welcome there for a white guy, just comparing to the stand-off service I've recieved from other hookah lounges in the past. It's definitly worth checking out.

Do hookah lounges give you disposable nozzles? I've never been to one, but it's so sick at a party when there's like 20 people sharing one and the nozzles are covered in spit.

rofl, the "everything" must be an East Indian thing because whenever i go to an East Indian place and ask what they would recommend, it's always 'eeeeeverything". It’s gotten to be a running joke between me and my friends heh

Narkilla FTW! I'll have to check this place out, hopefully this weekend. I haven't had sheesha for over a year.
