HGTV - Handyman Superstar Challenge III
I've been waiting to post until I was more certain of me going
Story:
About a month and 1/2 ago my GF and I sawon HGTV they were accepting entries for the next Handyman Superstar Challenge,.. So I entered
They wanted a short Video of my work and of me working and a short questionaire
So I did that
2 days ago I got a call,.. strange area code,.. and I answered,.. it was firvalley productions,.. asking if I was still interested in competing in the next Handyman Superstar Challenge,.. I said,.. well more like yelled excitedly "HELL YA!!"
LOL
To complete my registration I had to fill out a bunch of release forms and fax back,.. I just got back from faxing them off,.. so theoretically by tomorrow,.. I'll be officially registered for the show
Now don't hold your breath on me even appearing on TV.
They are flying in 20 people,.. but only 10 will partake in the filming. On the first day,.. they will be eliminating 10 people.
So I have no idea if I'll even make it passed the first round.
FYI:
All expenses paid trip
AFAIK: there are only 2 from Alberta - I'm the only from Calgary
3 from BC
And the rest are from ontario.
There is no prize this year,.. which I don't care,.. I had a feeling they were continuing this show just for shits and giggles and with no budget.
Would be nice if they had some sort of Championship belt,.. LOL,.. kinda like Wrestling,.. LOL

But it's all good.
I saw last years finalists and they were all pretty knowledgable,.. so hopefully if I do get selected for the filming,.. I can only hope I'll make it to the top 5.
Even if I don't,.. at least its a free trip to ontario,.. even if it was just for a night,.. LOL
