    Default Tuning Options

As you may already know, my 99 Integra is in need of a tune

    It's currently running Uberdata, OBDI.
But I'm having trouble finding anyone to re-tune my car.

At this point I'd just like to tune it for 10 - 12 pounds, but I'm not sure what my choices our.

What cost would i be looking at to have my old ECU chipped and run Hondata? I hear Hondata is a little more popular now.

Or, does anyone know if Rage2 still does tuning?

Im kind of stuck here, so any help would be great

Your "old" ECU should already be chipped so it shouldn't need to be chipped again.

If I were you, I'd take a tuning course and learn how to do it yourself. It's really not that hard. I think that's your best bet because you don't have to rely on others.

Hondata/Crome/Uberdata are basically the same except Hondata makes it easy because there's a lot more support and fewer bugs. Personally, I've never been able to get Uberdata to work 100% quirk free before.

^^ I actually attended a course there a couple months ago. I took the "basic" course, which is a really good course if you don;t know anything about tuning. Although you do need some kind of background dealing with cars. (Knowing your way around them).

THe basic course teaches you the basics of tuning ( Theory ). So you actually won't be able to go out and complete a whole tune by yourself. THe programs they use are the best on the market, very easy to use.

Im happy to say the car is back on the road, and it's driving great!

I'd like to thank the crew at speedtech, Anthony in specific, for doing the tuning. Right now im being smart and have the boost running at about 8.5 lbs, since i didnt get some headstuds and a gasket put in. (money is tight)

Just curious what a safe boost level is to run with out the studs and gasket?
