HKS T51 REW swap into FC3s completed.

Well, cept for the tuning and painting of the new hood/bumper combination.
Its to late to really drive it this year, but its running now and moves after living on my hoist for a year. Cant believe it makes noise again, picking away at a car 5 minutes at time takes forever to finish.
Lots of FC owners ask if you can put an FD REW into an FC3s, yes it can be done, its a quite a bit of custom fabrication work, and wiring. The car is wired as a 3rd gen from the firewall forward, which allows me to use FD plug and play options.
The mod list is as follows:
FD3s 13b-rew built from all new parts
Bridgeported with Mazda performance seal set
8.5:1 low comp rotors with FD front stack
850x2, 1600 x2 injectors
2 walbro pumps run staged
FD3s Power FC computer
Trust Intercooler
Msd digital ignition
HKS T51s turbocharger
OS giken Twin plate
HKS 6 speed dogmission

If the weather stays moderatley warm over the next while I will run in the motor and put on the dyno..

What kind of numbers are you expecting?

I know what I would like, what pump fuel will support here is another question.. I have enough fuel and air to make 600 at the rear wheels, it all depends what the knock level of the fuel is when I approach 28 psi, and how much advance it will take.. If I ended up at 500, that will still be enough in this car..
I am looking for an Rx8 to do something with currently, need a dead motor lease back with no warranty...

Neal, where you been? .. Yeah I picked away at it and it finally runs... Spent some time with the power FC yesterday and just got the idle areas done, throttle tip in set, synched the power FC to the FJO and the map sensor is calibrated for 30 psi...
Once the shop is cleared out of other peoples stuff then I will dynotune it.

Suprisingly enough, it did not arouse as much interest as the rotor housings in the luggage..Homeland security went through all my motor parts, bit by bit.. They probably have never seen a rotor housing before and thought it was some odd device..The other part that freaked them out was a power FC ecu with a engine wiring harness, that must have looked a little suspicious going through x-ray.
With the bellhousing and shift knocked off it it, the transmission wasnt all that big..Just a little heavy to haul around on stopover.
