Anyone know any other GOOD sites for purchasing board gear online?

This is what I'm looking at so far:

    Canada:
    - boardzone.com
    - source
    - mission
    - chikko

    USA
    the-house.com
    dogfunk.com
    eternalsnow.com

FREE shipping (above certain purchase) if possible

^^^ Chikko and Mission don't really offer online ordering... But are good local shops. Source does offer online ordering, but is local so might aswell go buy stuff in store.

There is a little park on Haddon Rd SW between Heritage and Southland dr that from what I recall should have some good rails for you guys. I walked by there to get to the train a few times when I lived in the SW. There was never any people in it.

Can't be certain about it though but yeah just an idea

Hey guys, got a question for ya!!

How do you wash your jackets and snowpants? Do you guys put detergent in it? I'm afraid that it may lose the waterproofing if I put detergent in it. I always just wash mine with water alone.

a lot of goretex type jackets will require waterproofing after you wash it

MEC or other outdoor stores will have special cleaning and waterproofing stuff for those jackets

its like 7-10 bucks for a single use bottle of waterproofing liquid. i try to do it once a year

^^ Same I have always washed with detergent and cold water, hang to dry... washing with just water seems kinda pointless to me, won't get your stuff any cleaner than it was before.

Grangers is available at most technical outdoor places like Out there on Stephen Ave/MEC and probably Coast Mountain Sports.

If you can't find that you can also try the Nikwax line of products, you should be able to find that at most sport chek stores.

Follow your washing instructions, most laminates are hang dry only, but gore tex products you should put in the dryer on high heat.

Lol, not even sure there is one 100%, but I am fairly sure there is a good long set of stairs going down from the street to the middle of the park. I thought I remembered it holding my drunk ass up one night, I could be wrong though :S

    Default Regarding Park Passes

    IMPORTANT QUESTION:

Is there a fine if you are caught without a park pass in Banff national park? If so how much is it? And do they actually give you a refund if you pay one time, and show up again with your park pass?
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
    —Cicero, Roman statesman and lawyer
