I'm considering buying a JDM something, how are your experiences with RHD? Seems like left turns at intersections and passing on two-lane highways might be kinda... suicidal??

IMO if you can find something else thats LHD, thats within your price range - buy it instead.
well.. I drive a RHD vehicle.. for the most part it's pretty easy.. but left hand turns are pretty suicidal.... the RHD life isn't the best in some cases ..
GOOD LUCK

its easy. haha well yeah left hand turns are a bit nutty. but other then that its pretty basic you have to realize your only a foot away from the left hand side. its not a huge change. just takes getting use to.
I've been driving it now for 4 years. Never once had a problems. left turns are only insane if you can't spare the extra ten seconds to be patient. No big deal. I switch back and forth everyday between my LHD and RHD cars and I couldn't care less either way.
And considering I'm a girl that should mean you guys should really have no problem right?

Driving RHD is easy, as long as you drive sanely no left hand turn will be a problem.
If you like drive-through's dont buy one!
or learn how to drive backwards properlyOriginally posted by SR240SX

yeah honestly it's the same thing as LHD except for highway passing and drive throughs (card swipes etc...). If your worried about left turns, just don't drive right up to the line, keep back a couple feet and you'll see everything.
You can still back through drive throughs. I do it at tim hortons all the timeOriginally posted by SR240SX

3 right hand turns make a left
I drive through drivethru's normally, its not that hard to just reach across.
RHD is easy to drive. I didnt even test drive mine before I bought it. I had droven in it multiple times with the previous owner who was my close friend, and it was no different than driving a LHD vehicle.
Left hand turns are only difficult if an opposing vehicle is turning left on the other side of the road.
Patience is key, but its definately not hard to drive.
i drove a rhd drive car i would say left hand turns is the worst
but for cornering its the best
whoever drives through drive-thrus backwards is really stupid. just drive through normally and lean over a bit... oy

its easy took me about 10 seconds to get used to it. left hand turns are also easy. its common sense if you cant see a car coming just wait. problem fixed.
