My worst nightmare
On saturday evening our 900 sq ft detatched garage went up in flames, everything was lost.
The shop.
My motorcycles, the R1 on the right, R6 on the left.
My twin Hayabusa powered project car.
'71 Lamborghini Jarama, 1 0f 177.
My toolboxes and other destruction.
R6 brake rotors.
Racecar transmission, notice straightcut gears. There is a '71 Lotus Europa underneath.

What's left of my 3 sets of track wheels.
Carbon fiber cloth is made of carbon = non flamable. The resin is however so I'm left with the fabric.
The boxes burned...

That's so painful. Sorry to hear. Good to hear your not hurt, but I'm sure it'll be hard/impossible to replace some of that stuff.

He has posted the progress of the Z's build here on beyond. He had a TON of man hours into that project and it showed...

Holy Crap! That really sucks. Hopefully insurance is enough to even try to start replacing everything. Good luck with rebuilding and hope it goes well for you after that shitty luck

At least the garage was detached from the house, it could have been way worse. Looks like nobody was physically harmed either. Best wishes on rebuilding everything.
