    Default Value life...hug your kids

No one should have to go thru pain like this. If you're a parent, be warned; this will tear you up and will bring you to tears.
This happened to an acquaintance of mine I know through another forum

    http://www.scottkeen.com/forum/viewt...r=asc&&start=0

She managed to fight and hang on for only a few days.

    Very sad.

I imagine she got burned by water somehow, what a terrible death for anyone, more-so for one so young.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Horrible.....something similar happened to my sister-in-law. They lost a daughter to ahouse fire.

I don't know how people come back from that experience.

Wow, as a parent that just hurts to see things like that - especially when the child is just getting started out in life. I have two boys 2.5 and 7 years that my wife and I adore. We couldn't imagine what it would be like to have to go through something like this. Through all of the frustrations that we have with them when they are fighting or misbehaving, stories like this really help us to put things in perspective. Condolences to your friend and his family.

yeah anything can happen quickly, a local kid here yrs back was playing with a dog, the dog had a stick and was shaking his head around the way dogs do... and the stick got the kid in the eye, killing him...

here's a poem that one guy posted there...

    "When God calls little children
    to dwell with Him above,
    We mortals sometimes question
    the wisdom of His love.
    For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world
    seem wonderful and mild.
    Perhaps God tires of calling
    the aged to His fold,
    so He picks a rosebud
    before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but a few
to make the land of Heaven
    more beautiful to view.
    Believing this is difficult,
    still somehow we must try,
    The saddest word mankind knows
    will always be "Good bye".
So when a little child departs,
    we who are left behind
    must realize God loves children
Angels are hard to find. "

I felt this to be very touching and brought many tears to my eyes
