So, does anyone ever ride on ice (frozen lake)? I wanted to stud my tires and give it a go.

Raymond is prob one of my fav places to ride trackwise

Its rarley busy, main track is awesome, and the rest of the "complex" is pretty fun to screw around on. Weather permitting, going back next wed. Since its a pretty small riding community down there, everyone is really nice. the good guys will always show you lines, and give tips, or just come up and start shooting the shit with you.

unlike black foot, where if your not a pro, its a long day or riding haha.

Kook was pretty good, same old thing kinda gets boring after a day but nice to get out for a ride. Kook was my first ride in a couple months after tearing my ACL. Built up my confidence enough to ride again before i get surgery next summer.

Here is a clip from last weekend at Blackrock.

No truck here either (just jeep), but there's room on the trailer if you ever want a lift out. Just shoot me a line. Im free every other weekend basically.

Nope thats real time speed shot on a "Go Pro Hero"- the quality is actually way better but youtube scales it down. Im not on the cam filming im typically just in front (when the camera man can keep up )

Its pretty fast, the camera makes it look a bit faster. There are guys that pass me like im sitting still. In a 2 hour race I typically get lapped by the top 5 in expert class!!!

and as for ice biking....ive done it with tires that had studs installed by a shop...and its awsome actually, you get the same or more traction as dirt. and apparently when you race ice bikes they drift em pretty much around the turns..
