Default Pictures of the Atlanta Zoo and the Museum Of Natural History

These 2 places were the last 2 stops for me in my discovery of Atlanta. There are a lot of hot chicks at the zoo!

    Alligator Snapping Turtle

American Alligator......these are in all around here.

The endangered Black Rhino. I know it's not black but that's what the sign said.

    Bongo walking away from me.

    Crocodile

    Tiny deer

Diamondback Rattlesnakes. They had the deadliest snakes there in cages, I wonder what the handler gets paid. The only ones I didn't get pictures of were the Cottonmouth and Black Mamba.

I forget which type of dragons these are.

    Elephants

    Flamingos

    Gorillas

    Giant Tortoises

    Iguana

I know they had wallabies but I think these are kangaroos.

    Kimodo Dragon

    King Cobra

    Lemur

Lion....boring. I only saw this one and she didn't do anything.

A Macaw. I got there just at the end of the bird show, missed this huge bird by seconds. And I couldn't stick around for the next show.

    Meerkat on lookout.

    Monkeys

Can someone tell me what these are? It's a common name but I forget it. It's on the zoo map I have at home.

Orangutans. No way did I think they'd actually get into that hammock.

    Otters

Reticulating Python. My guess is it's close to 20 feet.

Some guy was tapping on the glass talking about a spider and I got my face to the window going, "WHERE? WHERE?" And the whole time it was RIGHT in front of my face on the glass. This is called a Saint Andrew's Cross spider, one of the largest in species of spider in North America. It wasn't on display at the Zoo, it simply chose a great spot to spin a web.

    Warthogs

    Zebra And Giraffe

Then I went to the Museum Of Natural History. It was kind of boring so not a lot of pictures.

    Ankylosaurus

    Brontosaurus

Tyrannosaurus Rex. Looks like the place they shot one of the final Jurassic Park scenes at.

    I love the otters!!
That looks like a pretty wicked zoo.
It reminds of the the Madrid zoo, so open and they have different animals together (zebra/giraffe).
    Nice pics
