Took a shortcut and guess who was around the corner

Yesterday on the way to a friends, i took a shortcut through a little area of grass (between 2 parking lots) when i got to the other side there had been a big group of people looking at me, and in the middle were 2 of those bicycle cops. He didn't try coming after me since i just kept driving (he has no sirens or lights right?) I think he called in my friend looked back and saw him on his radio, probly had my license plate down. Can i get some sort of ticket in the mail for doing this? would it be considered stunting?

Actually they can, I think some people here have been busted like that before. THey'll just give a ticket to the registered owner then. If 2 cops saw him, it's a pretty strong case versus some joe schmo.

It also depends with what your going to get a ticket for. Because you were driving accross a grassy park area they may charge you with something more severe and then you might get a knock on your front door.

i dont think so man...when the cops called my house telling my mom they saw me street race but didn't pull me over coz they went for the other person, they said they were gonna come and talk tp me and bla bla bla and if i don't answet they send me ticket bla bla bla...that was at least two months ago...haven't heard from them yet... i really think that they can't ticket you after the fact...it'd be such a waste of time and money to get the people that saw you to come testify for them...

A buddy of mine got one the same way so who knows. Depends on the cop I guess, I'm pretty sure these two bike cops were non too impressed!
