Beyond Photo Meet - NOVEMBER 4

Alright, we seem to have have some pretty good interest in our meets and a few people asking us if they could join us on our photo trips, so we'll open this next one into a beyond photo meet.

Sunday, November 4, we will be heading out to do some more fun shooting. The tentative location is going to be Drumheller, but we are up for suggestions if anyone has any.

We can probably do some carpooling if it's needed and we can arrange times in the next few days (probably leave in the morning and arrive back home around dinner time). Please post here if you're interested in coming and if you have other location ideas, please post them up as well.

Looking forward to seeing some of you again and meeting the rest that I haven't met before! Happy shooting!

Is this a for-sure event just where more people are invited? Only reason I ask is because I need to book that time off of work. Plus I'd be down for carpooling and paying for gas.

how far away is drumheller from calgary? nov 4th is my birthday im down!

Whew! I had to look this up because I don't remember it taking 3 hours last time I was there

So less than an hour drive? What is there to take pictures of besides Dinosaur models? I don't remember a thing about Drumheller.

Was there this summer, not much to do... the big ass dino is like 3 bucks to go up as much as you want... the Museum was like 12 bucks. Reptile World was a waste...

If the coal mine thing is open this time, I'd be interested in going...

The idea is the hoodoos not the museum and tourist attractions! I'd prefer mountains, maybe go south on the 40 past barrier lake and turn onto the spray lakes road and end up in canmore? Or some kind of hike?

My vote is for some sort of hike as well, rather than drum heller (assuming I can make it).

my vote is something thats not north of calgary, mountains are good, keep it close to the dirty south

The only concern with the mountains is that by Nov 4, the mountains will probably have a substantial amount of snow. They already have a nice blanket already and it's just half way through October.
