I got some conflicting advice on swap process. Do I need to remove the transaxle to pull the D16?

yes and no. you can unbolt it in the engine bay and remove the block. but you will need to remove it anyways see how you are swaping in b16 which the transaxle doesn't blot up to the b series motor.
It's not yes and no, it's yes. and what do you mean unbolt it from the engine.
Just take the axles out cause you have to put the new ones in anyways.
transaxle meaning transmission. so noi you don't have to right away, but you will have to eventuallyOriginally posted by ls/vtec-crx

I did some checking in the shop manual and I think you people confirmed it. I will yank the axles (of course) and pull engine and transaxle out together. Thanks for the help.
p.s. anyone know if I can find a shop manual for a B16a1 online?
