I've hadn't heard of TNT before all of this, and from what I understand, they are a legitimate shipping company.

However, they do NOT provide escrow services as described by the seller, and if you do a google search for "TNT escrow" or "TNT scam" you'll quickly find out that this guy's a scam...

Then I got an official looking email from the "TNT agent" who's handling my order, complete with links to the real TNT site. (I'll upload it tonight)

It tells me to send payment by Western Union Wire transfer to

which is actually the address of a TNT outlet

Too bad the email came from "[email protected]", and has this sig: Want an e-mail address like mine? Get a free e-mail account today at www.mail.com"

I just got back from the Western Union branch across the street, and they told me that the name and address of the agent on the invoice from TNT is currently under investigation for fraud and that they can't put the payment through. I think you should probably go try and get your camera back ASAP, in case he tries to steal it.

Is there another way we can make this transaction work? I still really want the camera man!!
