    i think that your status should change every 100 posts , cause im sure not looking forward to having my status stay first gear till i reach 400 posts.... kinda boring
    anyways if its not to much work i think you should switch it so that every 100 posts it switches a gear
    first gear 100
    sixth gear 600
    redline 700
    then 800 can be premium member or something like that
    just wanna make things more interesting thats all
    hope you consider it

    yeah well your still first gear at 300 posts........
    i think it would be much better if it automatically switched
    like yours should be changed to third gear by now
    just a suggestion..... for me i have another 300 posts before anything happens to mine lol .... just kinda boring thats all

    Well then look...Persons like Rage and I would be at like sixth gear alreadyand the site is only 2.5 months old...I think it should be longer if anything...or after a set amount of posts (200 or s you can change it to whatever you want...

    even after every 200 posts it changes a gear i would be happy, just dont wanna be in first forever

    I sorta borrowed the gear idea from another forum (lets not start the plagarizing debate!) since it was kinda neat and I couldn't think of anything creative. Thanks s2ki.com! I love that forum, hope they dont mind!

    As for why it takes so long to move up the gears... well, theres no real point in having user titles where everyone reaches the last one in like a couple months. I actually lowered some of the numbers so its not too bad. I wont post the exact numbers so people don't try to post retarded stuff to move up the gears.

    Enjoy, its just a user title, nothing more.

    I think the gears thing is fine. Could be worse. ie. at clubel.ca, they just use some default setting on the forum, so everyone is called a (rank)-citizen.
