It's a good movie ... I don't think it properly reflected the mentality of the time the events were portrayed in though. Too many movies add 'new millenium flavor' to time periods where people though about things differently. Still great though

I really enjoyed it. I'm probably alone here but I thought it beats scarface and the Goodfellas. At the end where he snitched on everyone was exactly what was expected. He really had no one to protect. In those Italian gangster movies they always had family and allegiances. Frank on the other hand just had himself. Who was he going to protect? Those crocked cops?

Movie was pretty good, 3/5 imo. He's pretty gangster though, like that part where he shot Tango in the middle of Harlem...that was pretty dope lol. Wiki says that he's self proclaimed, so I don't really know if he actually made more money than the mafia at one point.

whats that wiki link talking about? 10% pure? Thats not right, even in the 70's it was around %30 for average stuff, and today 80/90+... useless knowledge

It had zero character development. Thought it was a mediocre film. Nothing like Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino, Scarface. Mind you, those were all fiction and this was supposedly based "on a true story". Though the characters were real, i wonder how much was true and how much was embellished by Hollywood.
