It took me about 8 tries to get Before I forget... the intro isnt so bad, but when you get to the part where you gotta jump your hand around like an angry spider monkey it gets fucking nuts. if you can score star power ONCE in that song you should be set... SHOULD be....

expert always. I've only tried it maybe three times, after getting home from school and that. I am practicing Take This Life way more.

try it on expert... as soon as the solo starts, it is all over. I can't even hit the notes on slow timing because they are SO fast. Same with Raining Blood by Slayer, although I'm getting a little closer now.

One and Raining blood are teh last two songs I need to play on hard to complete it... (and Thru the Fire and Flames.. hahaha) It's a frustrating game sometimes...

I'm stuck on the same ones for my expert playthrough (plus Cliffs of Dover actually, that one is really stumping me for some reason).

I have a lot more fun playing some of the earlier songs... Cult of Personality is great, and so is Pride and Joy and Welcome to the Jungle. Those ones are just more fun than the really heavy songs because the solos are just too crazily fast.

alot of websites say that GH3 has Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.....i don't see there songs. Does anyone know anything about this?

You have to play co-op to unlock those two songs.

I just beat One on Expert... I am pretty pumped about that. Did decently too. There is a lot of easy star powers to get that are enough to power you through the first (hardest) part of the solo.

I got stuck on One and Raining Blood on hard. Once I beat them I got stuck on the boss for like 45 minutes. Then today I flew through expert but am now stuck on Before I Forget. It's the second part of the bridge that blows my mind. I just can't move that fast.

I've beat it on medium. tried a few songs on hard but there is no way I will beat those anytime soon.

So I will just stick to practising medium until I can hit like 98% of notes on every song, I am at ~90% of the notes on most.

i have always wanted to get into guitar hero but being left handed (playing to the right) i always found was really gay. i will be picking up rock band for sure though.
