Ok ... I put $10 on the line for shit to hit the fan in the time of 2-3 months (days 30-60) after the transfer happened. If anyone wants to bet against that, you can cover any span of days at any bet ($20 limit) for 2:1 odds. Also, side betting allowed on the time taken before personal threats are traded. Double payouts if there's a fist fight @ Chinook.

How about a line of credit? An unsecured LOC is only 9% interested per year and they will give them to just about anyone. I bank with TD and they just asked me one day if I wanted a $16,000 line of credit. That is pretty much the cheapest way to borrow money. On $1000 it's about $7.50/month interest (will go up a bit each time if you never make payments)
