ideas to make quick money?

hey i was just wondering if anyone knows any quick ways to make a grand?

i've just been put in the worst situation (not by my own doing) but i do feel obliged to help out a friend. when i was down for the count, he was the only one that i could rely on, and now i'm just trying to do him a favor, but i'm fresh out of ideas....

the only things that i have yet to try are bank (but they won't, my credit isn't that good), loan sharks (don't know any), and last but not least, the casino which is never a good way to *attempt* to make money.

please, no in the thread, only post if you have suggestions/comments that will help.

edit....ok, so i also wanted to throw out there that i don't want to pawn anything, and neither does he. i know that there has to be a way.....i've tried all family, friends, and general people i know....

Citi financial does personal loans.....its at a pretty high interest rate, but they are flexible on who they give it to

Best bet I can think of right now is going for a Flames Credit card or something like that. Maybe a canadian tire CC. They give them to ANYBODY and I'm not sure if they do background checks or not, say you're in real estate and make 150k a year.

the whole drug dealing thing.....

first off, i don't have the startup costs, and second, i don't have the customer base. i really don't feel safe trying to sell crack/coke/heroin on a street corner, because selling pot doesn't make a person enough money.

now, if i had the connections and all i had to do was drive around and meet people, i would have done that already.....

$1000 isnt that much.

Why dont you and you friend each get cash jobs? Something like general labor during the day and food delivery during the night.

A few days and you should have more than enough cash.

i need the money as of yesterday.

$1000 isn't that much, true, but to come across it in a short amount of time is difficult.

i already have a job, but i'm not quite at the level where i can walk up and ask my boss for a grand. i've tried doing food delivery at night, and it's okay, but for right now it's not possible, because i have a rental and they won't allow me to deliver in it.

if i had the time, i wouldn't be asking on here. lol
