Well my company has offered me a transfer, and has asked me to chose where I would rather live.
Choices are: Perth, Aus or Oxford, UK.
All things being equal where would you rather live?

tough choice. im leaning towards perth because of the warmer climate, and its probably more laid back

I was born in Oxford in the early 80's and from what I remember I would choose Perth.
Quality of life, climate and people would be my deciding factors.

Oxford. Everything in Europe is so close, a weekend trip to Belgium or Paris is viable. You are slightly restricted in that aspect living in Austrailia. Plus, the culture and histroy of England in general would be a motivating factor for me

The other factor is I will travel a lot with both jobs.
If in UK destinations will include
Scotland, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, Russia, and North Africa.
If in Aus destinations will be
Indonesia, China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, India and other parts of AUS.

I didnt like Perth that much lol... My cousins go to Oxford and always talk highly of it . So one for the UK!!
And no offence to the aussies , but god damn they are behind in the times!!

I would make an effort to stay in Europe, and therefore choose to be based in the UK.
While I'd rather be based in Perth, having to travel to all the countries you listed would deter me from wanting to be there. No love here for India, Indonesia, or Malaysia. The countries you'll travel to out of Oxford are much more appealing! Russia, France, & Africa!!
