heres my chop
whats up with you and the negative camber on the rear wheels in all your chops... IMO it looks terrible...
But that is just IMO...
Don't most drift cars have like HUGE negative camber in the rear? or is that just cuz they cut there springs???
Negative camber is good, but that is fucking ridiculous, the Rav4 has like 3 cm of contact patch on the rear wheels....duh!
Other than the fact that Negative chamber eats the shit outta your rubber, what exactly is so good about it?Originally posted by ZorroAMG

a certain amount of negative camber in the front and the rear allows for better traction i think.
hehe sorry, i dunno i watched this car dvd and it had a section of all cars with negative chamber. ive been obsessed with it so i'll try to stop it from now on, i feel like such a dick
Camber allows the car to have more stability in the turns. Even though there is less of a contact patch, when you corner a car hard, the angle of the tire on the road flattens to an almost flat contact patch, giving more grip. When you have neutral camber, the tire will be flat on straights, then lift outwards on corners, reducing contact patch and ultimately, grip.
Gee thanks zorro, i now clearly understand what it is used for
