I have the LG Tromm steam wash and for a washer and dryer it's pretty pimp, it's not quite a year old and have had no issues with it.
I've had LG Tromm's for a few years now. No complaints at all.
is it that the Samsung Silver Care your looking at? I know that LG is very popular. I am in the same boat. I can't decide which set I want, for 2 months I have been sitting on the fence as which to buy.
I wouldn't buy kenmore just because of a customer service problem I had with them on my last 2 appliances from them.

Heh.. neither?
I bought the Kenmore front loading washer and dryer. Quite love it too. Good energy efficiency as well.
Edited..
I just looked up the LG Tromm on consumer's reports, and it rated #1, beating out the Sears by 4 points.. however, it's also $500 more..
For Dryers, they still recommend the Kenmore over the others, due to it's the same performance as the LG, but only half the price.

I have neither, but my parents have the LG set and mom loves it. She's a fussy little bitch too so it must be good!

I say stupid shit all the time.
I have the LG tromm Steam dryer and washer set with pedestals. I highly recommend this product. My parents both have LG Tromm's and none of us have had any issues.. Go with LG.
Anybody know what justifies the price of these combos over any other ones?
LG fridges are expensive because they can be. After Consumer reports rated them #1, their prices doubled for the same product.
Wonder if it is the same with the washer dryer combos.

they do use their own water heaters which is suppose to save you money in draining your own water tanks, and heats to a higher temp to get clothes cleaner. Use less water than top loaders, and because they are new more energy efficient.
I can't wait to get a set..but I am still leaning towards Samsung we have friends that love them, but I have read if you do have problems parts aren't as easy to get as the LG's
i also have the lg tromm steam washer and drier with Pedestals, they are so PIMP.. Well worth the $2500 i paid for the pair.
I have the LG's as well and had no issues with them. It's been about 1 year now.
