so I was drivin behind this dodge stealth and i was thinkin it looks nice from behind. next thing u know he changed his lane really fast to right and I ended braking and stopped of course with my hp brake pads and cross drilled rotors but the toyota behind me didnt have none of that so he didnt stop and fuckin hit me. i get out of the car ready to beat his ass. and thinkin my rear end is fucked too. (ohh before that as he smashed me i hit the car in front me too) anyways i got out of the car and i have no damage neither the lady that I rear ended but his toyota is wrecked. front bumper bent in. fenders are bent like crazy coolant leak as well. he was terrified and shakin. i told him eveything is ok. i got a go and i came work with my eg coupe with no problems... i had a little scratch.

Yeah man, regardless of who's fault it was, you have to exchange insurance info, and if there's more than $1000 damage or any injuries, you have to wait for the cops.

Yeah dude you should not of left, if its your fault or not. If the other person needs a tow truck then the cops might come with it and ask where you are. Then you might be fucked.
But you dont always need to call the cops if its over 1000 dollers, you just need to go to a police station and get a damage sticker.

you only have to wait for the cops if a car is undrivable(which in this case it was) but if it's over $1000 damage and both cars are still driveable, you have to go to a district police station and report it

Not true. Same thing happened to me this summer and the guy in the middle wasn't issued a ticket, only the jackass that hit him.

True. When the above mentioned situation happened to me there would have been closer to 10G damage between the three of us and no need for police to come. I called them and asked.

Non injury, minor collison = No Cops, just a damage sticker before you get your car fixed. There are to many people who call the cops for these little accidents and it just wastes their time. The police have now been advertizing on tv and radio for people not to call them for these small things.

how hard did you hit the person in front of you? I mean, even if there's no damage to her car you can't predict that she's not going to wake up tomorrow with a massive headache and a super stiff neck, aka whiplash... if she needs any medical attention or physiotherapy for that, you're liable for her injuries and then the "hit and run" isn't going to look very good...
