The red pad works sometimes... but not consistently like it should, single hits will work maybe 1/10 times...
I'll see if I can fix the pad while I wait for the new ones to come.
Does any one know if there are any warranty void stickers on the pads? I dont want to void the warranty trying to see if I can fix it by taking the pad apart.

Is it just me, or is it way harder to play with the gum rubber pads? I ended up taking them off because I was just missing a lot more notes than i should have... Not to mention that they are a bitch to keep on. It is so hard to get a good bond to the drums..
With my broken pad I just exchanged the whole thing for a new one no problem

It's good for pounding but if you're hesitant (ie, a newbie on a complicated set) it's harder.Originally posted by sabad66

But it's a bit quieter which is nice. They're off right now though.
I'm stuck on the medium hillbilly/grassroots song that just goes on and on and on forever
I am a noob, but I can play on hard now. I hit them pretty hard right in the middle usually but it still misses sometimes..
