What is with all of these god damn American companies? One after the other they won't deal with Canadians. Tools, auto parts, whatever I keep getting shut down... I'm even trying to get stuff shipped to my grandparents now since they live 6 months of the yr and own a house down there, but then I run into issues of them not accepting my credit card because they won't allow my billing address to be shipped to an American address..

My last resort is to now call each of these places and exaplain what I am doing, beit me just buying parts "for family members" or whatever I'll get my way, that or be black listed everywheres...

Yup I'm having the same issue... I am trying to convince my sister to order the stuff for me, so I can pick it up at her place in the states when I go to visit over winter break.

Most places don't like shipping here... and those that do and have what I'm looking for try charging absolutely retarded amounts for shipping.

Call your cc company and add your grandparents address to your card as a ship to address. Many companies will only ship to addresses that are listed on a cc.

the most confusing thing about all this refusal to sell to canadians is the fact that their country has become a net importer with a huge trade deficit. and yet they dont want money from other countries, that to me is the most backwards thinking. it just goes to prove how much companies are screwing canadians.
