Default Where can I dump decent furniture/monitors?

Have a dresser, twin mattress box, small sturdy desk, working 17" flat screen crt monitor, and a couple more monitors that I need to get rid off. Most of the stuff is in great working order with signs of normal usage, so would prefer it going to someone who can use it vs. dumpster.

Any beyonders want this stuff or know of organizations who would benefit from it?

Went through this a few weeks ago when we were getting rid of some furniture as well. Alot of the thrift stores aren't equipped to take furniture. We did find a Goodwill in the little strip mall near the Canadian Tire in Westhills that has a drop off location in the back for furniture, but they won't take it if its scratched or damaged at all. We had to take a few items to the dump.

If you've got time, the Salvation Army has a number you can call for furniture pick up; they'll send a truck out but it takes a week or two.

Or, post up some pics on here and you'll have most of that stuff gone in no time

    www.cdics.com

if you call the Calgary Drop in centre, you can arrange for them to come and pickup your unwanted items for free.. they'll set up a date, and then swing by and pickup everything (must be located in your front yard or front attached garage or something like that).
