Car repair help/ paint removal

Hey guys,
I got a bit of a problem. During the summer I was a painter and got a bit sloppy when it comes to cleaning up. I ended up getting a little bit of paint on my car. Is it safe to use a paint remover/thinner that I usually use when removing paint from wood? I am just afraid to peel off the actual car paint.

I also got a little bit of paint on my seats. The seats are the cloth fabric. Is there a product you guys recommend to take paint out of these seats?

And one more thing. I was washing my car yesterday and I noticed a rust spot on my hood. I assume it was from a rock chip because the size of the rust spot is extremely small. Is it possible to cover it so to speak, in order to stop the rust from spreading.

Any tips or suggestions is appreciated.

for the rust, you gotta grind it off to get rid of it or it will spread

I would recommend brake parts cleaner to remove the paint on the seats. At the same time scratch the paint off the seats with a dull object, or finger nail. As for the paint spilled on the car, try the paint thinneryou have, if that doesnt work try an automotive paint thinner, its stronger. just have to be carefull. it may dull the clearcoat on your car. if that happens get some polish to bring back the shine. The rust chip on the vehicle is simple to do. Use a sharp thick needle, scratch the rust inside the chip until all rust is gone, then touch it up with paint. DO NOT USE BRAKE CLEANER ON THE PAINT.
