Just had my internet fart out for the morning, and it was a pain in the ass not being able to check on stocks and all that other stuff.

Asking this poll on a internet forum could get pretty one sided results, but I'm curious nonetheless.

Which would be worse? A week without internet or a week without TV?

Well I recently moved and I had to wait a few days for the internet to be connected and man it was rough... I didn't really give a rats ass when the cable was going to be connected so you know my vote.

Wouldn't have guessed that the 'net would've taken it by such a landslide. I remember reading a while ago that the TV station managers were worried that the Internet was going to take away from their audience... and I guess that's happening.

I downgraded to welfare cable cause I watch so little TV now. The news is about the only thing I'd say that's better on TV.

I wonder if how hard the cable companies will be hit financially as more and more people turn to computers....

yes, once they realized people were spending alot of time using their computers, and trying to use their computers to live off their TV habits, spam was created.. remember those stupid popup ads? omfg thank god for pop up blockers.

the only reason I still have a TV is because my computer can't watch digital cable channels..

Fox Sports World, MTV, Biography and TechTV.. if I had those 4 channels on my computer, the TV would be out the door.
